Connect CLōD to Roo Code

Use CLōD-hosted models directly inside Roo Code via OpenAI-compatible endpoint.

Overview

Roo Code is a VS Code extension for agentic coding workflows. Connect it to CLōD for access to 50+ models with up to 60% cheaper inference.

Prerequisites

  • • CLōD account — free at app.clod.io
  • • Roo Code installed
  • • CLōD API key (Dashboard → API Keys → Generate)

Setup

Step 1: Get your CLōD API key

Sign in at app.clod.io → API Keys → Generate Key.

Step 2: Configure Roo Code

In VS Code, open Roo Code settings.

Set:
- Provider: OpenAI Compatible
- Base URL: https://api.clod.io/v1
- API Key: your CLōD API key

Step 3: Select a model

Use tool-calling capable models for full agentic functionality. Browse at app.clod.io/auth/models.

Available Models

CLōD supports 50+ models. For agentic tools, use models that support tool calling / function calling.
