May - 2025 Updates on CLōD
Modular Access to Compliance and PII Capabilites
To offer more tailored solutions, we have separated our Compliance and PII modules. This allows users to choose the specific capabilities they need by selecting the appropriate user tier. Our new tiers include clearly defined limits for API requests, tokens, and monthly budgets to perfectly match your needs.
Smarter, More Reliable API
We’ve made significant improvements behind the scenes. Our system can now intelligently determine which modules (like Compliance or PII) are required for a completion request based on the API key used. Additionally, we’ve resolved a streaming error with the Gemini model, making the platform more robust and reliable.
CLōD at Web Summit Vancouver 2025
The CLōD team spent an incredible week at Web Summit 2025 in Vancouver, where one thing was crystal clear: Large Language Models are rapidly becoming the foundational infrastructure for modern business. We were thrilled to be on the ground, and our booth on Friday gave us the opportunity to connect with dozens of innovative teams building the next generation of AI-powered tools.
From our conversations, three key themes emerged:
1. LLMs Are Unlocking Entirely New Use Cases
We saw a wave of applications that weren’t even on the roadmap a year ago. Companies are moving beyond simple chatbots and into complex operational overhauls. We spoke with teams building supply chain platforms that use LLMs to forecast vendor risks from unstructured news data and HR tools that can draft tailored performance reviews from scattered manager notes. It’s clear that industries once slow to adopt new tech, like manufacturing and people ops, are now using LLMs to fundamentally rethink how decisions are made.
2. Monotonous Tasks Are Getting Automated—Fast
Teams are reclaiming countless hours by offloading high-effort, low-satisfaction work to AI. We saw LLMs being used to auto-generate concise meeting notes from lengthy call transcripts, clean up messy CRM entries, and even draft initial RFP responses. This isn’t just about saving time; it’s about freeing up talented people to focus on strategy and execution rather than administrative drag.
3. Almost No One Has Safeguards in Place
This was the most alarming trend we observed. In the rush to innovate, most companies we met are sending highly sensitive data—including legal records, customer profiles, and proprietary content—directly to LLMs. They are operating without Data Loss Prevention (DLP), without PII redaction, and without any alignment to internal or external compliance policies. The immense security and compliance risks are largely being ignored for the sake of speed.
CLōD exists to fix this gap. Our platform provides businesses with access to top-tier LLMs through a unified, secure, and compliant environment. With built-in safeguards like PII detection, DLP, and custom policy enforcement, we empower teams to build and deploy innovative AI solutions without putting sensitive data or regulatory compliance at risk. Web Summit reinforced our mission: to help companies move fast and build great things, safely.

What’s Next?
We’re already hard at work on the next wave of improvements to make your experience even better. In the coming weeks, we will be officially moving CLōD to a new home at app.clod.io. Don’t worry, the old dashboard.clod.io address will continue to work, ensuring a seamless transition. We are also strengthening our sensitive data and PII leak prevention module with significant enhancements to provide even more robust security. Finally, get ready for a completely revamped dashboard, designed from the ground up to be more intuitive, powerful, and user-friendly. Stay tuned for these exciting updates
